Loco Madre

*Flashback* When we first started doing murals on the streets of Sydney, we were making our mark with Black and White large scale animals. Word got out and one of our first commission and step into the hospitality industry was for a Peruvian restaurant on the beach of Manly, Sydney. We have fond memories starting out as Artists on this job, because we’d turn up first thing in the morning and go for swims during our breaks…living the life…so to speak.

The restaurant’s main focus is on local produce and using the best Australian ingredients to bring Peruvian flavours even further to life. There are Latin American influences and the menu borrows heavily from Mexican cuisine. Our focus was to create a street yet elevated feel to the space. So we did what we did best at the time with our monochromatic animals and took it to whole new level with a Whale-Octopus hybrid.
