Shift the Sails

We were asked to join Wescover - an online community of creatives. It was an awesome process to gather mural works from our portfolio and have it displayed online in one place! Digging through the archives, we realised we never posted about this mural 2 years ago.

This project was pretty great, because the mural was on a bamboo house by a small river- surrounded by a community of more bamboo houses! The town asked artists around the world to come and paint each house. I’ve posted some pics below of the process!

This mural is called "Shift the sails". It highlights how we can't stop the wind from blowing, but we can shift the sails. "Shift The Sails" looks at the benefits of flexibility of perspective. We can't always control the external factors of our lives, but adapting a divergent point of view can shine light on new beautiful aspects of existence. Hope you like it as much as we do!
